South Hills Mom

a mom's guide to kid-friendly resources in the South Hills

About

Hello!  Welcome to my blog!  A bit about me…I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have two children, a toddler daughter and an infant son.  Before kids I worked as an elementary teacher, but decided to stay at home to raise our kids.  I loved teaching, and plan to go back to school in a few years when my kids do.  In addition to full-time mommying, I keep busy as a board member in the MOMS Club of South Hills, where I have made some wonderful friends and gotten a lot of insider information about raising kids in the South Hills!  I also enjoy spending time with family, baking, reading, venturing around Pittsburgh on occasion, and recently, running.

As a stay-at-home mom to two kids under two I am always looking for something new to do close to home.  I’ve found a lot of great spots and decided to create a resource for other families in the South Hills.  I hope I have something for everybody here, and would love to hear YOUR favorite places around the South Hills, too!
